We recommend you also check whether your home and contents policy covers goods in transit, as policies vary.

Not necessarily — it depends on the service you’ve booked. If you’ve selected our professional packing service, our crew will box everything up on arrival. If you’re doing your own packing, we strongly recommend all boxes are sealed and labelled before we arrive, as unpacked items significantly slow down the loading process and add to your hourly cost. Yes, we operate seven days a week and take bookings on Saturdays and Sundays. Weekend slots fill quickly — especially Saturday morning bookings — so we recommend booking at least two weeks ahead if your settlement or lease end date falls on a weekend. Our hourly rate of $195/hr applies on weekends just as it does on weekdays; there is no weekend surcharge built into the rate.

We do offer moves on Queensland public holidays, subject to availability. Public holiday moves are charged at a higher rate than our standard $195/hr to reflect the penalty rates paid to our crew — you’ll see the applicable rate clearly on your quote before you confirm. A small deposit is required to secure your booking date, with the balance due upon completion of the move. We accept payment by card or bank transfer — no cash required. The final bill is based on actual hours worked, so if your move finishes sooner than estimated you only pay for the time used.
