In 2024 I walked out of a CBD corporate real estate job — suit, tie, property economics degree — and started Relocation Rangers.

My colleagues thought I was mad. They wore suits every day and couldn’t understand why I’d want to come home with dust on my boots. But I’d grown up working in hospitality through school and uni, and I’d seen something most people in removals had forgotten: how much customer service actually matters.

The Australian removals industry has a bad reputation for a reason. Standards are low — people leave 5-star reviews because the truck showed up on time. I figured: if nobody else is going to raise the bar, we will.
